Marsha Gosho Oakes is a freelance writer, journalist, editor and PR executive, born and raised in London.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief of online music and culture portal SoulCulture (www.soulculture.co.uk) since 2007, her writing has also been published in Blues&Soul, Dazed&Confused, HipHopDX, RWD and MOBO magazine among others.  An Associate Editor at Shook magazine, she was formerly Editor of Origins Media and Music Editor of FunkdUpLondon.com.
